Hammond RCHS1901417BK1 8U Solid-Side Knock-Down Rack Cabinet, Black

The RCHS1901417BK1 is an 8U rack cabinet with solid side panels from the RCH knock-down series, built for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control systems, and small IT or lab setups where 19-inch equipment needs a compact, floor-standing home. It ships unassembled (knock-down) for easier handling, transport into constrained spaces, and protection in transit.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load rating, finished in textured RAL9005 black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The cabinet assembly comprises a top panel assembly, bottom panel assembly, two knock-down solid sides, four punched combo rails and two black plastic handles, joined with the supplied 1/4-20 bolts, spring nuts and M6 screws. A self-squaring design keeps assembly quick with minimal hardware, and PVC non-marking feet plus the lifting handles help with placement and surface protection.

Overall size is 16 in x 21 in x 17.5 in (406 mm x 533 mm x 445 mm) with a usable mounting area of 14.00 in high x 19.00 in wide x 16.25 in deep (8U). Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole mounting rails are included, along with a starter pack of 16 10-32 screws and clip nuts. The front 19-inch mounting width measures 18.35 in (466 mm) with a 17.81 in (452 mm) opening.

RCHS1901417BK1 is TAA compliant and manufactured in Canada, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant for procurement documentation. Optional doors, additional rail pairs and caster kits are available within the series. Note that this product is not designed nor intended to be wall mounted.
