Hammond RCHS1901424BK1 8U Solid-Side Knock-Down Rack Cabinet, 24.5" Deep

RCHS1901424BK1 is an 8U solid-side rack cabinet from the RCH knock-down series, built for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control panels, and small IT or lab equipment that needs a compact, self-contained 19-inch mounting frame. It ships unassembled, which makes it easier to carry into constrained spaces and assemble on site.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load rating, finished in textured RAL9005 black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The cabinet is made up of a top panel assembly, bottom panel assembly, two solid knock-down sides, four punched combo rails and two black plastic handles, and it assembles with the supplied 1/4-20 hex bolts, spring nuts and M6 screws. A self-squaring design keeps the frame true with minimal hardware, and PVC non-marking feet protect finished floors.

Overall dimensions are 16.00 in (406 mm) high x 21.00 in (533 mm) wide x 24.50 in (622 mm) deep, with a usable mounting area of 14.00 in (356 mm) high x 19.00 in (483 mm) wide x 23.25 in (591 mm) deep and a 17.81 in (452 mm) front opening. Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole rails with 10-32 clip nuts provide 8U of rack space; a starter pack of 16 clip nuts and screws is included.

Optional doors and panels, additional mounting rail pairs and caster kits are available within the RCH series for further configuration. This cabinet, RCHS1901424BK1, is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America. It is not designed nor intended to be wall mounted.
