Hammond RCHS1901424LG1 8U Solid-Side Knock-Down Rack Cabinet, 24.5" Deep

The RCHS1901424LG1 is an 8U rack cabinet with solid side panels, shipped knock-down for easier handling and transport. It is built for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control and automation, and small IT or lab equipment racks where 19-inch mounting and a simple, flexible configuration are needed.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load rating, finished in RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat. The assembly comprises a top panel assembly, bottom panel assembly, two knock-down side panels and four punched combo rails, secured with the supplied 1/4-20 hex slot bolts, spring nuts and M6 screws. Two black plastic handles assist lifting, and PVC non-marking feet help protect finished surfaces. The design is self-squaring, so assembly requires minimal hardware.

Overall dimensions are 16.00 in (406 mm) high x 21.00 in (533 mm) wide x 24.50 in (622 mm) deep, with a usable mounting area of 14.00 in (356 mm) high x 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 23.25 in (591 mm) usable depth. The front opening measures 17.81 in (452 mm) with 18.35 in (466 mm) 19-inch mounting centres, and the 8U rail height is 14.06 in (357 mm).

Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole mounting rails are included, along with a starter pack of 16 clip nuts and 10-32 screws. Optional doors, additional rail pairs and caster kits are offered within the series. RCHS1901424LG1 is made in Canada, is TAA and USMCA compliant, and meets RoHS and REACH requirements. This product is not designed nor intended to be wall mounted.
