Hammond RASU190515BK1 3U 15-Inch Deep Solid Rack Shelf, 200 lb Rated

The RASU190515BK1 is a 3U solid (un-vented) universal rack shelf for standard 19-inch racks and cabinets, giving IT, AV and industrial equipment that cannot be rack-mounted a solid, fixed support surface. It is the solid counterpart to the vented RASV190515BK1 in the RAS Series.

The shelf is formed from mild steel in 14-gauge material with a suggested load capacity of 200 lbs (91 kg); the series data notes this product was tested to double the suggested load rating. The stiffener lip is folded up on the back only, so the front edge stays clear while the rear lip adds rigidity and helps keep equipment in place. The finish is a black textured powder coat, described in the series data as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant to support indoor air quality and environmental compliance.

Mounting dimensions are 5.25 in (133 mm) high by 19.30 in (490 mm) wide with a 15.00 in (381 mm) depth. The drawing shows a 19.01 in (483 mm) front panel with a 17.50 in (444 mm) wide shelf surface, 17.36 in (441 mm) inside, and eight 0.25 x 0.38 in mounting slots. Because the shelf uses the RAS Series universal design, it mounts to any standard EIA-compliant rack or cabinet, and it can be installed internally as a shelf or externally as a work surface. Mounting hardware is not supplied with the shelf.
