Hammond RASU190320BK1 2U Solid Cantilever Rack Shelf, 20-Inch Deep

The RASU190320BK1 is a 2U solid (un-vented) universal rack shelf for standard 19-inch racks and cabinets. It gives IT, AV and industrial users a fixed, cantilevered support surface for equipment that cannot be directly rack-mounted, such as network gear, amplifiers and media devices, small servers, UPS units and peripherals.

The shelf is formed from mild steel in 14-gauge material and finished in a black textured powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental compliance goals. A stiffener lip is folded up at the back only, and the solid deck provides maximum surface support where airflow through the shelf is not required.

Mounting dimensions are 3.50 in (89 mm) high by 19.30 in (490 mm) wide with a 20.00 in (508 mm) depth, occupying 2U of rack space. The drawing shows an overall panel width of 19.01 in (483 mm), a 17.50 in (444 mm) top-view width and a 17.36 in (441 mm) inside width, with 8 x 0.25 x 0.38 in mounting slots plus additional 6 mm slots for equipment attachment. Suggested load capacity is 100 lbs (45 kg); the product was tested to double the suggested load rating.

RASU190320BK1 uses a universal design that mounts to any standard EIA-compliant rack or cabinet, and it can be installed internally as a shelf or externally as a work surface. Mounting hardware is not supplied with the shelf. The optional RASCLAMP clamping arm accessory provides secure equipment retention for 2U and 3U sizes. Shipping weight is 13.01 lbs (5.90 kg). The part is made in Canada, USMCA compliant, TAA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant.
