Hammond RASU190110BK1 1U Solid Rack Shelf, 10 in Deep, 42 lb

The RASU190110BK1 is a 1U fixed rack shelf with a solid (un-vented) 10-inch deep platform, made for 19-inch EIA-compliant racks and cabinets. It is intended for IT, AV and industrial users who need a dependable surface for equipment that cannot be directly rack-mounted, such as network appliances, amplifiers and media devices, small servers, UPS units and peripherals.

Construction is mild steel in 16 gauge with a black textured powder coat finish. The finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental compliance requirements. A stiffener lip is folded up at the back only, adding rigidity while leaving the solid top clear for maximum surface support.

The drawing shows an overall shelf width of 17.50 in (444 mm), an inside width of 17.36 in (441 mm), a 19.01 in (483 mm) front panel width and four 0.25 x 0.38 in mounting slots on 18.32 in (465 mm) centres, so the shelf lands on standard 19-inch rack rails. Mounting hardware is not supplied with the shelf. The universal design can be installed internally as a shelf or externally as a work surface, and RASU190110BK1 is tested to double its suggested load rating.
