Hammond PPFS19003LG2 2U Vented Perforated Steel Rack Panel, Gray

The PPFS19003LG2 is a 2U perforated rack panel for standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It covers unused rack space while letting air pass through the vented pattern, making it a practical choice for IT, AV and telecom teams managing thermal performance in populated racks rather than fully blocking the opening with a solid blanking panel.

The panel is made of 16-gauge mild steel and finished in a smooth powder coat in RAL7035 semi-gloss light gray. The perforated pattern allows approximately 25% airflow, so it supports cooling and ventilation while still tidying the rack face. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the part is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant as well as TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America for government procurement requirements.

Usable mounting dimensions are 2U: 3.50 in (89 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 0.50 in (13 mm) deep. The drawing for PPFS19003LG2 shows an overall width of 19.00 in (483 mm) with a 3.47 in (88 mm) panel height, 18.32 in (465 mm) between outer mounting features, 3.00 in (76 mm) vertical slot spacing and 0.250 x 0.375 in (6 mm x 10 mm) mounting slots with 0.18 in (4 mm) holes. Shipping weight is 0.68 lbs (0.31 kg).

The panel mounts directly to standard rack rails through its slotted flange; mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws separately. A matte black version, PPFS19003BK, is offered for the same 2U size if a darker finish is preferred.
