Hammond PJU201610CCH 20x16x10 Clear Cover Type 4X Enclosure with Feet

PJU201610CCH is the largest clear-cover, foot-mounted enclosure in the PJU Series continuous hinge line with screw-fastened cover, listed at a nominal 20 x 16 x 10 in and measuring 20.50 in x 16.27 in x 10.13 in (521 x 413 x 257 mm) in the ordering table. It suits integrators who need to see inside a Type 4X, IP66 enclosure used as an instrument housing, control enclosure or terminal wiring box.

The part drawing for this model lists an injection molded polycarbonate box, standard cover and clear cover, with a 0.19 in (4.75 mm) wall thickness. The cover hinges on a 316 stainless steel pin and is secured by 316 stainless steel captive cover screws in #10-32 brass inserts. Sealing is by a formed-in-place (FIP) polyurethane gasket.

Polycarbonate feet are fastened with 316 stainless steel screws into #10-32 brass inserts, and mounting hardware is included. Inside, #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional P2068 inner panel, 18.44 in x 14.44 in (468 x 367 mm). The drawing lists back panel options of 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, and 0.250 in fiberglass.
