Hammond PJU201610H 20x16x10 Solid Cover Type 4X Fiberglass Box with Feet

PJU201610H is the largest solid-cover, foot-mounted size in the PJU Series of Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction boxes with continuous hinge and screw cover. At 20.5 in x 16.27 in x 10.13 in (521 x 413 x 257 mm), it houses instrument, control and terminal wiring assemblies that must withstand hose-down, wet, high temperature or highly corrosive conditions.

Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering, and the material can be punched, cut or drilled on site. The manufacturer short description reads "NONMET LIFTOFF SC CVR FEET". The cover hangs on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and is secured by captive stainless steel screws in #10-32 brass inserts with retaining O-rings, sealing against a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.

Four polycarbonate feet are fastened with stainless steel screws into brass inserts, and mounting hardware is included. Shipping weight is 18 lbs (8.16 kg). The optional P2068 inner panel measures 18.44 in x 14.44 in (468 x 367 mm) and mounts with plated carbon steel screws; aluminum, white steel and galvannealed, and 0.125 in fiberglass back panels are listed.

The PJU201610H series is UL 508A and cUL listed Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and operates from -40°C to 130°C. It is REACH and RoHS compliant.
