The PJU201610CCHF is a flange-mount Type 4X enclosure with a clear polycarbonate cover, nominally 20 x 16 x 10 in and listed in the PJU Series ordering table at 20.50 in x 16.27 in x 10.13 in (521 x 413 x 257 mm). It is intended for instrument enclosures, control housings and terminal wiring in areas where equipment may be hosed down, very wet or exposed to corrosion, while keeping internal devices visible.
According to its drawing, the enclosure has a 0.19 in (4.75 mm) wall thickness, a 316 stainless steel hinge pin, and a FIP polyurethane gasket. The clear cover is held with 316 stainless steel captive cover screws threaded into #10-32 brass inserts.
Two polycarbonate flanges provide the mounting points, secured with 316 stainless steel flange screws into #10-32 brass inserts; mounting hardware is included. For internal equipment, the optional P2068 inner panel measures 18.44 in x 14.44 in (468 x 367 mm) and fastens with plated carbon steel screws. Back panel thickness options are 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.250 in fiberglass.
Shipping weight is 18 lbs (8.16 kg). Series standards include UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, with operation from -40°C to 130°C. PJU201610CCHF is REACH and RoHS compliant.
