The PJU181610HF is the flange-mount, solid-cover 18 x 16 x 10 enclosure in the PJU Series of Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction boxes. Two glued polycarbonate flanges allow mounting to walls and structures, making it a fit for control housings, terminal wiring and instrument enclosures that face washdown, heat or corrosion.
The compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester box and cover are gray, UV-inhibited and easily punched, cut or drilled. The manufacturer short description reads "NONMET LIFT HNG SC CVR FLAN". A molded hinge with a stainless steel pin carries the cover, and captive stainless steel screws in #10-32 brass inserts with retaining O-rings compress a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.
Enclosure size is 18.3 in x 16.52 in x 10.13 in (465 x 420 x 257 mm) and the shipping weight is 16 lbs (7.26 kg).
