Hammond PJU181610H 18x16x10 Solid Cover Type 4X Fiberglass Box with Feet

PJU181610H is an 18 x 16 x 10 Type 4X non-metallic enclosure from the PJU Series, with a solid fiberglass polyester cover on a continuous hinge and four polycarbonate mounting feet. At 10.13 in deep it gives room for larger controls, instruments or terminal assemblies in locations that may be hosed down, very wet, hot or highly corrosive.

Both box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors. The enclosure is easily punched, cut or drilled. Its cover swings on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin, closes against a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket, and is held by captive stainless steel screws in #10-32 brass inserts with retaining O-rings.

The inner panel mounts on #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws, and mounting hardware for the enclosure is included. Back panel choices are aluminum, white steel and galvannealed, or fiberglass.

The PJU181610H series is UL 508A and cUL listed Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and is rated for -40°C to 130°C operation. It is REACH and RoHS compliant.
