Hammond PJU12106HF 12x10x6 Type 4X Fiberglass Box, Solid Cover, Flange

PJU12106HF is the flange-mount version of the 12 x 10 x 6 PJU Series Type 4X polyester junction box with a solid cover. Two polycarbonate flanges are glued to the box, giving a mounting surface for wall or panel installation where feet are not wanted. It is intended for instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring and hydraulic or pneumatic control housings in wet, hot or corrosive locations.

The box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors and a material that is easily punched, cut or drilled. The cover rides on a continuous molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and is secured with captive stainless steel screws in threaded brass inserts, each held by a retaining O-ring. A captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket provides a positive seal.

Inner or back panels mount on #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws, and back panel options include 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, and 0.125 in fiberglass. Mounting hardware is included with the PJU12106HF.

Standards for the series include UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 130°C and an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb). The part is REACH and RoHS compliant.
