Hammond PJ302410RT 30x24x10 Type 4X Fiberglass Wallmount Enclosure

At 30 x 24 x 10.13 in (762 x 610 x 257 mm), the PJ302410RT is among the tallest raised-lid enclosures in the PJ Series, giving a 27.00 x 21.00 in (686 x 533 mm) optional inner panel for larger control layouts, instrument assemblies or terminal wiring. It is a Type 4X fiberglass polyester wallmount box with a solid cover.

The enclosure is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and meets IEC 60529 IP66, for use where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet, and in high-temperature or highly corrosive environments. Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors; the drawing shows a 0.14 in (3.56 mm) wall. The material is easily punched, cut or drilled.

Four 316 stainless steel lockable twist latches with padlock provision secure the lid against a formed-in-place polyurethane gasket, and the door is supported on a stainless steel hinge. Six 3/8"-16 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 18P2721 inner panel. Back panel thicknesses on the drawing are 0.100 in aluminum, 0.105 in galvannealed white steel and 0.250 in fiberglass.

Mounting uses four 316 stainless steel feet (larger foot size) on rear 3/8"-16 brass inserts, with 0.56 in (14.30 mm) holes; overall height including feet is 33.85 in (859.79 mm). Operating range is 130°C to -40°C, impact index 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), and shipping weight 32 lbs (14.51 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant, and PJ302410RTW is the window version.
