The PJ24208RTW is a 24.00 x 20.00 x 8.13 in (610 x 508 x 207 mm) Type 4X wallmount enclosure with a raised cover carrying a bonded polycarbonate viewing window. It suits larger control housings and instrument enclosures where panels, displays or indicators must remain visible while the enclosure is protected from hose-down, heavy moisture, heat or corrosive chemicals.
Its box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors, and it is easily punched, cut or drilled for entries. The drawing shows four 316 stainless steel lockable twist latches, two 316 stainless steel hinges and a FIP polyurethane gasket, with a 0.14 in (3.58 mm) wall. A padlocking provision is included on the door fasteners.

- Back panel stock: 0.100 in aluminum, 0.105 in white steel, 0.250 in fiberglass

The PJ24208RTW carries UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 listings and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is REACH and RoHS compliant, operates from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), has a 6.78J (5 ft/lb) impact index and ships at 24 lbs (10.89 kg). Mounting hardware is included. PJ24208RT is the matching solid-lid model.
