It belongs to the PJ Series of Type 4X polyester junction boxes used as instrument enclosures, control housings for electric, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, and terminal wiring boxes.
Protection covers UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 plus IEC 60529 IP66, suitable for hose-down, very wet, high-temperature or highly corrosive locations. The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors; the drawing shows a window opening of 12.00 x 16.00 in (304.80 x 406.40 mm) and a 0.14 in (3.58 mm) wall.
