PJ16148W is the lift-off cover member of the 16 x 14 x 8 PJ Series window enclosures. With a removable cover and 8.13 in of depth, it serves as a junction box, terminal wiring enclosure or instrument housing where the polycarbonate window gives visibility after the cover is fastened.
The cover is secured by four stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-ring into #10-32 brass inserts, sealing on a closed cell neoprene gasket. Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering, and the enclosure is easily punched, cut, or drilled.
Dimensions are 16.27 in H x 14.40 in W x 8.13 in D (413 x 366 x 207 mm), and the shipping weight is 14 lbs (6.35 kg). Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R1513 inner panel at 14.75 x 12.88 in.
