The PJ16148HW is a deeper 16 x 14 x 8 PJ Series window enclosure with a hinged screw cover. Its 8.13 in depth gives room for taller instruments and control components, and the polycarbonate window lets operators check them without opening the Type 4X fiberglass housing.
The drawing shows a stainless steel hinge, two stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-ring threading into #10-32 brass inserts, and a closed cell neoprene gasket. Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors, and the material can be punched, cut, or drilled as needed.
This model measures 16.27 in H x 14.40 in W x 8.13 in D (413 x 366 x 207 mm) and ships at 14 lbs (6.35 kg). Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R1513 inner panel, which is 14.75 x 12.88 in. Back panels are drawn as 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass.
Four stainless steel mounting feet fasten to rear brass inserts. The series carries UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb). PJ16148HW is RoHS and REACH compliant.
