PJ14126LW is the snap latch option in the 14 x 12 x 6 PJ Series window enclosure range. The hinged polycarbonate window cover latches closed with two lockable snap latches, making this Type 4X fiberglass box a good match for control housings and instrument enclosures that need a latched, visible cover.
The drawing shows two stainless steel lockable snap latches, a stainless steel hinge and a closed cell neoprene gasket. Per the series, the latches are draw-type fasteners with a padlocking provision. Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors, and the material is easily punched, cut, or drilled.
The enclosure measures 14.13 in H x 12.26 in W x 6.13 in D (359 x 311 x 156 mm) and ships at 9 lbs (4.08 kg). The optional 14R1311 inner panel (12.75 x 10.88 in) mounts on four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws, with back panel options of 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass.
Four stainless steel mounting feet fasten to rear brass inserts. The series is rated UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94 and IEC 60529 IP66, for operation from 130°C down to -40°C. PJ14126LW is RoHS and REACH compliant.
