Hammond PJ14126RL 14x12x6 In Type 4X Solid Raised Lid Fiberglass Box

The PJ14126RL is a 14 x 12 x 6 PJ series junction box with a solid raised lid, listed at 14.13 x 12.26 x 6.13 in (359 x 311 x 156 mm) in the ordering table and as 14.13 x 12.25 x 6.13 in in its long description. It gives control builders a larger non-metallic housing for terminal strips, instruments and control components where hose-down, heavy moisture, high temperature or corrosive chemicals are present.

The compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester box and cover have a gray finish with enhanced UV inhibitors and are easily punched, cut or drilled. This size is drawn with a closed cell neoprene gasket, a stainless steel hinge and (2) stainless steel lockable snap latches. The draw-type latches provide for padlocking, and the gasket is described in the series as captive and oil resistant.

Equipment mounts on the optional 14R1311 inner panel, 12.75 x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm), which fastens to four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws. For wall installation, four stainless steel mounting feet attach through #10-32 brass inserts with stainless steel screws; foot holes are .34 in (8.74 mm), and stainless brackets and hardware are provided.

The PJ14126RL is covered by UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) ratings and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. Operating temperature is 130°C to -40°C, impact index 6.78 J (5 ft/lb). It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships at 9 lbs (4.08 kg).
