Hammond PJ12124RLW 12x12x4 In Type 4X Window Cover Fiberglass Enclosure

The PJ12124RLW combines the shallow 12 x 12 x 4 PJ body with a raised cover fitted with a bonded polycarbonate viewing window. The ordering table lists the enclosure at 13.33 x 11.85 x 4.13 in (339 x 301 x 105 mm); the part page gives 12.32 x 12.32 x 4 in (313 x 313 x 102 mm). It lets technicians read instruments and indicators inside a sealed, non-metallic housing.

Applications named for the series include instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring enclosures and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, particularly where equipment may be hosed down, very wet, hot or exposed to corrosive chemicals. The compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester is gray, UV inhibited and easily punched, cut or drilled.

The optional 14R1111 inner panel (12.32 x 13.72 in) mounts on four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws. Four 316 stainless steel feet attach at the rear on #10-32 brass inserts with 316 stainless steel screws, with .34 in (8.74 mm) foot holes.

The PJ12124RLW is listed to UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, shipping weight 7 lbs (3.18 kg).
