Hammond PJ12126RLW 12x12x6 In Type 4X Window Lid Fiberglass Enclosure

The PJ12126RLW is a 12 x 12 x 6 PJ series enclosure whose raised cover includes a bonded polycarbonate viewing window. The ordering table gives 13.33 x 11.85 x 6.13 in (339 x 301 x 156 mm); the part page lists 12.32 x 12.32 x 6 in (313 x 313 x 152 mm). It is suited to instrument and control installations where readouts must stay visible and the enclosure must shrug off washdown, moisture, heat or corrosive exposure.

The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering; the material is easily punched, cut or drilled. Per the drawing, the cover swings on a 316 stainless steel hinge and closes with (2X) 316 stainless steel lockable snap latches onto an FIP polyurethane gasket. Wall thickness is .13 in (3.30 mm).

Operating temperature is 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), impact index 6.78 J (5 ft/lb). It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships at 8 lbs (3.63 kg).
