Hammond PJ12126RL 12x12x6 In Type 4X Solid Raised Lid Fiberglass Box

The PJ12126RL is the 6 in deep, solid-lid member of the 12 x 12 PJ raised lid family. The series ordering table lists the enclosure at 13.33 x 11.85 x 6.13 in (339 x 301 x 156 mm); the part page shows 12.32 x 12.32 x 6 in (313 x 313 x 152 mm). The added depth over the PJ12124RL makes room for taller terminal wiring and instrument hardware in wet, hosed-down, hot or corrosive areas.

Construction is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester for both box and cover, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors. Its drawing shows a .13 in (3.30 mm) wall, an FIP polyurethane gasket, a 316 stainless steel hinge and (2X) 316 stainless steel lockable snap latches, which include a padlock provision. The enclosure can be punched, cut or drilled for glands and fittings.

Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws are provided for the optional 14R1111 inner panel (12.32 x 13.72 in / 313 x 348 mm), available in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass. Four 316 stainless steel feet mount on #10-32 brass inserts with 316 stainless steel screws, with .34 in (8.74 mm) foot holes.

The PJ12126RL shares the series listings: UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and compliance with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It operates between 130°C and -40°C with a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, is RoHS and REACH compliant, and ships at 8 lbs (3.63 kg).
