Hammond PJ12106T 12 x 10 x 6 in Twist Latch Fiberglass Junction Box

Need a corrosion-resistant box with quarter-turn style closure? The PJ12106T is a wallmount Type 4X junction box in fiberglass reinforced polyester, measuring 12.13 x 10.26 x 6.13 in (308 x 261 x 156 mm). Its door is held by two lockable 316 stainless steel butterfly-type twist latches, making it a fit for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings and terminal wiring where equipment may be hosed down, very wet, hot or exposed to highly corrosive conditions.

Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering. The material is easily punched, cut or drilled, and the drawing specifies a 0.14 in (3.56 mm) wall. A continuous 316 stainless steel hinge supports the door, and a captive oil resistant FIP polyurethane gasket forms a positive seal. The twist latches include a provision for padlocking.
