Hammond PCJ664CCL 6x6x4 Clear Cover Polycarbonate Box with Feet

The PCJ664CCL is a 6 x 6 x 4 in (152 x 152 x 102 mm) Type 4X polycarbonate junction box with a hinged clear cover and polycarbonate mounting feet, from the metal-latch PCJ Series. The see-through cover suits installations where indicators or wiring need a quick visual check, and the enclosure is intended to insulate and protect controls and components indoors and outdoors, for example in pump controls, waste water, irrigation, solar/wind and chemical plants.

The light gray body is injection moulded polycarbonate and the cover is clear polycarbonate. Enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering, and the body can be punched, cut or drilled for fittings. The cover hinges on a stainless steel hinge pin and closes with a stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center, which provides for padlocking. The drawing specifies a closed cell neoprene gasket.

Enclosure dimensions are 5.93 in H x 6.16 in W x 3.98 in D (151 x 156 x 101 mm). Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel truss screws carry the optional PCJR0505 inner panel, 4.81 x 4.81 in (122 x 122 mm), offered on the drawing in 0.100 in aluminum or 0.075 in white steel.

Four polycarbonate feet attach through #10-32 brass inserts with stainless steel screws, and the drawing shows four 0.31 in (7.95 mm) mounting holes. The series is UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, IEC 60529 IP66, V-0 per UL 94 and f1 per UL746C, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The PCJ664CCL ships at 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
