Hammond PCJ664L 6x6x4 Polycarbonate Junction Box, Latch Cover and Feet

The PCJ664L is a 6 x 6 x 4 in (152 x 152 x 102 mm) Type 4X polycarbonate junction box with a solid hinged cover, a stainless steel snap latch and four polycarbonate mounting feet. As part of the metal-latch PCJ Series it is designed to insulate and protect controls and components in both indoor and outdoor conditions, including industrial pump controls, waste water, irrigation control, solar/wind and chemical plants.

Body and cover are injection moulded polycarbonate thermoplastic in a light gray finish, UV stabilized with enhanced inhibitors and easily punched, cut or drilled. The cover pivots on a stainless steel hinge pin and closes with a stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center, with provision for a padlock. A closed cell neoprene gasket is shown on the drawing.

The enclosure measures 5.93 in H x 6.16 in W x 3.98 in D (151 x 156 x 101 mm). The optional PCJR0505 inner panel is 4.81 x 4.81 in (122 x 122 mm) and fastens to four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel truss screws; back panel stock shown is 0.100 in aluminum or 0.075 in white steel.

Four polycarbonate feet attach through #10-32 brass inserts with stainless steel screws and give four 0.31 in (7.95 mm) mounting holes. The series is UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, UL 94 V-0 and UL746C f1, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Shipping weight of the PCJ664L is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
