The PCJ664CCLF is the clear-cover, flange-mount version of the 6 x 6 x 4 in (152 x 152 x 102 mm) metal-latch PCJ Series Type 4X polycarbonate junction box. Mounting flanges keep fasteners outside the sealed space, while the clear hinged cover lets operators see indicators and wiring. It is built to insulate and protect controls and components in indoor and outdoor locations such as pump controls, waste water, irrigation, solar/wind and chemical plants.
The light gray body is injection moulded polycarbonate with enhanced UV inhibitors and can be punched, cut or drilled; the cover is clear polycarbonate. A stainless steel hinge pin carries the cover, and a stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center secures it and accepts a padlock. The drawing specifies a closed cell neoprene gasket.
Enclosure dimensions are 5.93 in H x 6.16 in W x 3.98 in D (151 x 156 x 101 mm). The optional PCJR0505 inner panel, 4.81 x 4.81 in (122 x 122 mm), mounts to four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws and washers; the drawing lists panel stock of 0.100 in aluminum or 0.075 in white steel.
Two polycarbonate flanges are glued to the back of the box, with four #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel flange and feet screws, and eight R.170 (4.32 mm) mounting slots. Series ratings: UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13; IEC 60529 IP66; V-0 per UL 94; f1 per UL746C; RoHS and REACH compliant. The PCJ664CCLF ships at 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
