The PCJ664LF is the solid-cover, flange-mount member of the 6 x 6 x 4 in (152 x 152 x 102 mm) metal-latch PCJ Series. This Type 4X polycarbonate junction box is designed to insulate and protect controls and components indoors or outdoors, and the series lists applications in industrial pump controls, waste water, irrigation control, solar/wind and chemical plants.
The enclosure is injection moulded polycarbonate thermoplastic with matching cover in a light gray finish. Enhanced UV inhibitors guard against outdoor weathering, and the material is easy to punch, cut or drill. The hinged cover turns on a stainless steel hinge pin and is held by a stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center with a padlocking provision. The drawing specifies a closed cell neoprene gasket.
Measured size is 5.93 in H x 6.16 in W x 3.98 in D (151 x 156 x 101 mm). Inside, the optional PCJR0505 inner panel (4.81 x 4.81 in / 122 x 122 mm) fixes to four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws and washers; aluminum (0.100 in) and white steel (0.075 in) back panel thicknesses are shown.
Two polycarbonate flanges are glued to the body, supported by four #10-32 brass inserts with stainless steel flange and feet screws, and provide eight R.170 (4.32 mm) slots for fixing to a wall or structure. The series carries UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings, IEC 60529 IP66, V-0 per UL 94, f1 per UL746C, and RoHS and REACH compliance. The PCJ664LF ships at 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
