Hammond PCJ201610LF 20x16x10 Polycarbonate Type 4X Box, Flange Mount

The PCJ201610LF is a Type 4X polycarbonate junction box from the PCJ Series with a solid cover, metal snap latches and polycarbonate mounting flanges. Nominally 20 x 16 x 10 in, it is designed to insulate and protect controls and components in both indoor and outdoor conditions, making it a fit for industrial pump controls, waste water, irrigation control, solar and wind installations and chemical plants.

The box and matching cover are injection moulded polycarbonate thermoplastic in a light gray finish, and the material is easily punched, cut or drilled for entries. Enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering. The cover swings on a moulded hinge with a 316 stainless steel hinge pin and closes with two 316 stainless steel lockable snap latches that include a provision for padlocking. A captive, oil resistant FIP polyurethane gasket provides a positive seal.

Enclosure dimensions are 19.76 in H x 15.98 in W x 10.13 in D (502 x 406 x 257 mm), with a 0.24 in (6.09 mm) wall thickness, and the shipping weight is 20 lbs (9.07 kg). Threaded #10-32 brass inserts are provided for the optional P2068 inner panel, which measures 18.88 x 14.88 in (480 x 378 mm) and is offered in aluminum, white steel or PVC per the drawing.

For wall mounting, the PCJ201610LF carries two polycarbonate flanges fastened with #10-32 brass inserts and 316 stainless steel flange screws. The PCJ Series is listed to UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and complies with IEC 60529 IP66, UL 94 V-0 flammability and a UL746C (f1) UV rating.
