Hammond PBPS19015WH 9U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Matte White

The PBPS19015WH is a 9U solid steel rack blanking panel finished in matte white (RAL9003), built to cover unused rack space in a standard 19 in EIA rack. It is intended for IT and network teams, data center operators, telecom installers and AV integrators who need to close open rack units so cooling air follows the intended front-to-rear path instead of recirculating through empty space.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) with a smooth powder coat finish, giving a rigid, solid face that blocks airflow gaps rather than simply hiding equipment. The powder coat used on the PBPS Series is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.

This panel occupies 9 rack units, with a panel height of 15.75 in (400 mm) nominal (15.72 in / 399 mm on the drawing) and a 19.00 in (483 mm) width to suit EIA-compliant rack rails. It mounts at 8 points through 0.250 x 0.375 in slots, and the corners are radiused 0.12 in (3 mm). Shipping weight is 6.04 lbs (2.74 kg). Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nut hardware to match your rails.

Because a single PBPS19015WH closes nine consecutive rack spaces at once, it reduces the number of parts and fasteners needed compared with stacking several smaller blanks, and it gives a continuous, uniform face for a tidy installation. The PBPS Series is also available in matte black, dark gray (ANSI61) and light gray (RAL7035) if you need to match an existing rack environment.
