Hammond PBPS19015GY2 9U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Dark Gray

The PBPS19015GY2 is a 9U flat steel rack panel from the PBPS Series, used to cover unused rack space in 19 in equipment racks and cabinets. It suits data center, telecom and network installers, facilities teams and OEM integrators who need to close open rack units so conditioned air is directed through equipment instead of recirculating around it.

The panel is formed from 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) and finished in a smooth ANSI61 dark gray powder coat for a clean, uniform appearance across a rack elevation. The solid, unvented face blocks airflow gaps, which supports front-to-rear cooling and helps separate hot and cold air streams in high-density and hot aisle / cold aisle environments.

This 9U size gives a nominal panel height of 15.75 in (400 mm), with an overall drawing height of 15.72 in (399 mm) and a 19.00 in (483 mm) width to match standard EIA-compliant rack rails. Eight mounting points are provided, using 0.250 x 0.375 in slots that accept common rack mounting hardware; corners are radiused at 0.12 in (3 mm). Mounting hardware is not included with PBPS19015GY2, so specify rack screws or cage nut hardware separately to match your rails.
