Hammond PBPS19014LG2 8U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Light Gray

The PBPS19014LG2 is an 8U solid steel rack blanking panel finished in RAL7035 light gray, made to cover unused rack space in a standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack. It is intended for data center, telecom and network installers, facilities teams and OEM integrators who need to close off open rack units so conditioned air is directed through equipment rather than recirculating around it.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) with a smooth powder coat finish, giving a rigid, solid panel that blocks airflow gaps and holds its appearance in service. The powder coat is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.

This size occupies 8U of rack height: panel height is 14.00 in (356 mm) with a 19.00 in (483 mm) overall width across the mounting flanges, and a panel body of 18.32 in (465 mm) by 13.97 in (355 mm). Eight 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots provide 8 mounting points, so the panel can be secured at multiple locations along each rail for a flat, stable fit. Corners are radiused 0.12 in (3 mm). Shipping weight is 5.5 lbs (2.49 kg).

Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nut hardware to match your rail type. PBPS19014LG2 is one of four colours offered in this height, alongside matte black, dark gray (ANSI61) and matte white versions, so panels can be matched to existing racks in hot aisle / cold aisle, wall mount or floor-standing installations.
