Hammond PBPS19012WH 7U Solid Steel Blanking Panel, Matte White

PBPS19012WH is a 7U solid steel blanking panel for standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails, finished in matte white (RAL9003). It is intended for IT and network teams, AV integrators and facilities staff who need to close off unused rack space so conditioned air is forced through equipment instead of recirculating around it.

The panel is formed from 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) with a smooth powder coat finish, giving a durable, clean-looking cover for open rack units in high-density installations. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.

PBPS19012WH measures 19.00 in (483 mm) wide with a panel height of 12.25 in (311 mm) for 7 rack units; the drawing shows a 12.22 in (310 mm) overall panel height. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg). The flange carries 8 mounting points using 0.250 x 0.375 in slots, so the panel can be secured at four points on each side for a flat, stable fit against the rack rails.

Installation is straightforward: align the slotted flanges with the rail hole pattern and fasten at the eight mounting points. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nuts to suit your rails. Because the design is a solid panel with no vents, it blocks airflow gaps and supports front-to-rear cooling schemes and hot aisle / cold aisle containment.
