Hammond PBPS19015BK 9U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Matte Black

The PBPS19015BK is a 9U solid steel blanking panel for standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is used by data center, telecom and network teams to cover unused rack space so cooling air is directed through equipment rather than recirculating through open rack units. The matte black RAL9005 powder coat finish gives a clean, uniform appearance across a populated rack front.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) with a smooth powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The solid, flat panel design blocks airflow gaps to support proper front-to-rear cooling and helps separate equipment groups within the rack.

Panel height is 15.75 in (400 mm) nominal for 9U, with drawing dimensions of 15.72 in (399 mm) high and 19.00 in (483 mm) wide, and a 1.48 in (38 mm) overall depth profile. The panel is secured through 8 mounting points using 0.250 x 0.375 in slots, which accept standard rack-mount hardware. Mounting hardware is not included with PBPS19015BK.
