Hammond PBPS19015LG2 9U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Light Gray

The PBPS19015LG2 is a 9U solid steel rack blanking panel that covers unused rack space in a standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack. It is intended for data center, telecom and network technicians who need to close off open rack units so conditioned air is forced through equipment instead of recirculating around it. The panel ships in RAL7035 light gray, one of four colors offered in the PBPS Series.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) with a smooth powder coat finish for a clean, professional appearance in visible rack fronts. The solid, unvented face blocks airflow gaps, supporting front-to-rear cooling and helping prevent hot and cold air from mixing in high-density or hot aisle / cold aisle installations. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

This size occupies 9 rack units, with a panel height of 15.75 in (400 mm) and an overall width of 19.00 in (483 mm) across the mounting flanges. The drawing shows a panel height of 15.72 in (399 mm) and eight 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots, giving 8 mounting points — four per side — for secure support of the larger panel area. Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).

Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nuts to match your rail type. PBPS19015LG2 is TAA-compliant and made in Canada in an ISO 9001 certified facility, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant with ECCN EAR99.
