Hammond NWC18U2436WNBK 18U Type 12 Wall-Mount Cabinet, Window Door

The NWC18U2436WNBK is an 18U enclosed wall-mount rack cabinet built for network and industrial equipment that has to survive dust, dirt and dripping liquids. It is the "N" configuration of the NWC Series, meaning it ships with no climate control and no cutouts of any kind — a fully solid, sealed enclosure — and it is fitted with a window door in a RAL9005 Black textured powder coat finish.

Construction is 14-gauge welded mild steel, UL2416 Type 12 rated to 350 lb (158 kg) and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5). The cabinet is independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56 for protection against dust ingress and powerful water jets, and the doors are gasketed to keep the enclosure sealed. A double-hinged design with concealed hinges and 19" rack compatibility gives dual access to equipment for installation and servicing, while external mounting feet and a rear pan design support secure wall installation and cable entry.

Overall dimensions are 42.27 in (1074 mm) high x 24.50 in (622 mm) wide x 36.22 in (920 mm) deep, with 18U of usable mounting height at 32.00 in (813 mm) and 30.00 in (762 mm) usable equipment depth with the swing-out function (26.55 in / 674 mm rail-to-rail depth). Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant tapped 10-32 mounting rails set the 18.35 in (466 mm) 19" mounting width, and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws is included. Power-bar mounting is provided without using "U" space.

Dedicated bonding and grounding points support proper electrical installation. NWC18U2436WNBK is TAA-compliant, made in Canada, RoHS and REACH compliant, meets PCI DSS compliance requirements and falls under UL file # E474597.
