Hammond NWC18U2436WALG 18U Type 12 Wall Cabinet, Window Door, AC Unit

The NWC18U2436WALG is an 18U enclosed wall-mount cabinet built for network and industrial equipment that has to survive dust, dirt and liquid exposure. It pairs a UL2416 Type 12 rated, gasketed sealed enclosure with a window door and a factory-supplied 900-1300 BTU DTS3021A115LG air conditioner (shipped inside the cabinet, with cord), making it suited to IT/AV integrators, OEM engineers and facilities teams deploying edge computing, IDF and automation equipment outside of a clean data room.

Construction is 14-gauge welded mild steel finished in RAL7035 Light Gray powder coat (GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant). The double-hinged design gives dual access for installation and servicing, and dedicated bonding and grounding points support proper electrical bonding of all cabinet components. External mounting feet and a rear pan design support secure wall installation and cable entry.

Overall dimensions are 42.27 in (1074 mm) high x 24.50 in (622 mm) wide x 36.22 in (920 mm) deep, with 18U of usable mounting height at 32.00 in (813 mm) and 30.00 in (762 mm) of usable mounting depth using the swing-out function. Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant 10-32 tapped rails on a 19 in mounting width let you position equipment where you need it, and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws is included.

NWC18U2436WALG is UL2416 Type 12 rated to a 350 lb (158 kg) load and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. It is independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56 for dust ingress and powerful water jets, meets PCI DSS compliance requirements, and is TAA-compliant, manufactured in North America.
