Hammond NWC18U2436WABK 18U Type 12 Wall Cabinet, Window Door, AC Unit

The NWC18U2436WABK is an 18U sealed wall-mount cabinet built for network and industrial equipment that has to survive dust, dirt and washdown conditions. It is the window-door, black (RAL9005) version of the "A" configuration, which ships with a factory-supplied 900 dash1300 BTU DTS3021A115LG air conditioner inside the cabinet, complete with cord. That makes it a practical choice for IT/AV integrators, controls engineers and facilities teams deploying active gear in plant, edge computing and IDF locations.

Construction is 14-gauge welded steel with a black powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The double-hinged cabinet design gives dual access for installation and servicing, while gasketed doors seal the enclosure against dust, dirt and dripping liquids. The cabinet carries a UL2416 Type 12 rating with a 350 lb (158 kg) load rating, is independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56, and is seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5).

Overall dimensions are 42.27 in high x 24.50 in wide x 36.22 in deep (1074 x 622 x 920 mm), with 32.00 in of usable mounting height and 30.00 in of usable mounting depth thanks to the swing-out function. Rail-to-rail depth is 26.55 in (674 mm) and the 19 in mounting width is 18.35 in (466 mm). Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant 10-32 tapped rails position equipment, and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws is included.

Dedicated bonding and grounding points, external mounting feet and a rear pan design support secure wall installation and cable entry. NWC18U2436WABK is TAA-compliant, made in Canada, and meets PCI DSS compliance requirements.
