Hammond NWC18U2436SFLG 18U Filtered Type 12 Wall-Mount Cabinet, IP56

The NWC18U2436SFLG is an 18U enclosed wall-mount rack cabinet built for network and industrial equipment that has to survive dust, dirt and dripping liquids. It is the "F" (filtered) configuration of the NWC Series in RAL7035 Light Gray with a solid door, and it ships with rear and door Type 12 filters that maintain the enclosure's UL Type 12 rating while allowing airflow management. Integrators, plant electricians, facilities teams and OEM engineers specify it for edge computing, IDF and automation cabinets where a standard indoor wall cabinet is not enough.

Construction is 14-gauge welded steel (mild steel) with a powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The sealed, gasketed double-hinged design gives 19-inch rack compatibility with dual access for installation and servicing, and the enclosure is UL2416 Type 12 rated to a 350 lb (158 kg) load and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5). It is independently tested to IEC 60529, IP56 for protection against dust ingress and powerful water jets.

Overall dimensions are 42.27 in (1074 mm) high x 24.50 in (622 mm) wide x 36.22 in (920 mm) deep, with 18U of usable mounting height at 32.00 in (813 mm) and 30.00 in (762 mm) of usable equipment depth thanks to the swing-out function. Two pairs of adjustable 10-32 tapped, EIA-compliant panel rails set equipment position, and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws is included.

Installation is supported by external mounting feet, a rear pan design for cable entry, and dedicated bonding and grounding points. NWC18U2436SFLG is manufactured in Canada, TAA-compliant, USMCA and REACH compliant, and meets PCI DSS compliance requirements under UL file E474597.
