Hammond NWC18U2436SABK 18U Type 12 Wall Cabinet With Air Conditioner

The NWC18U2436SABK is an 18U enclosed wall-mount rack cabinet built for network and industrial equipment that has to survive dust, dirt and washdown-adjacent conditions. It is the solid-door, RAL9005 Black, air-conditioned ("A") version of the NWC Series, shipping with a factory-supplied 900–1300 BTU DTS3021A115LG air conditioner (shipped inside the cabinet) with cord for active cooling of heat-generating gear.

Construction is 14-gauge welded steel (mild steel) with a powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The sealed enclosure uses gasketed doors to keep dust, dirt and dripping liquids away from equipment, and the cabinet is UL2416 Type 12 rated to 350 lb (158 kg) with independent IEC 60529 IP56 testing against dust ingress and powerful water jets. A double-hinged design gives dual access to equipment for installation and servicing, while external mounting feet and the rear pan support secure wall installation and cable entry.

Overall dimensions are 42.27 in (1074 mm) high x 24.50 in (622 mm) wide x 36.22 in (920 mm) deep, with 32.00 in (813 mm) of usable mounting height and 30.00 in (762 mm) of usable mounting depth (30.00 in maximum equipment depth, 26.55 in rail-to-rail). Two pairs of adjustable EIA-compliant, tapped 10-32 rails accept standard 19 in equipment, and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws is included.

NWC18U2436SABK is seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5), meets PCI DSS requirements, is TAA-compliant and made in Canada, with dedicated bonding and grounding points.
