Hammond HYMPB6SS 6-Hole 22mm Hygienic Stainless Pushbutton Enclosure

The HYMPB6SS is the largest 22mm-hole model in the HYPB Series of hygienic Type 4X stainless steel pushbutton enclosures, with six pushbutton holes in an 11.94 in by 8.88 in body. It is intended for larger groups of pushbuttons and indicators on equipment in hose-down environments. The HYPB6SS offers the same concept with 30mm holes.

Construction is formed 304 stainless steel sloped 3° on all four sides, continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a natural #4 dairy finish on cover and enclosure. The silicone gasket mounts around the whole door edge for efficient cleaning and is replaceable with the HYG129. The hex head screw cover is completely removable for modifications, and a bonding stud on the door and grounding stud in the enclosure are supplied.

The HYMPB6SS measures 11.94 in (303 mm) high by 8.88 in (226 mm) wide by 4.00 in (102 mm) deep, with a nominal size of 12 x 9 x 4 in. The drawing shows an 11.12 x 8.19 in door, a 10.00 x 6.10 in opening, 9.37 x 6.31 in of clear space on the door and 3.43 in of usable depth, with 0.89 in notched pushbutton holes.

Wall mounting holes are not pre-drilled, leaving weld-in-place or stand-off mounting as options. The series is rated UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 12, 4, 4X, complies with NEMA 3R, 12, 4, 4X and IEC 60529 IP69/IP69K, and meets NSF/ANSI 169. It ships in a box with a shipping weight of 17 lb (7.71 kg).
