The HYMPB3SS is a three-hole hygienic Type 4X stainless steel pushbutton enclosure in the HYPB Series. It houses three 22mm pushbuttons or indicators in a single column, making it suited to operator stations on equipment cleaned by hose-down. The HYPB3SS is the matching enclosure with 30mm holes.
The enclosure is formed 304 stainless steel, sloped 3° on all four sides so water drains away in any orientation, with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural #4 dairy finish. Its silicone gasket mounts around the entire door edge and can be removed for cleaning or replaced with the HYG105. The hex head screw cover can be taken off entirely for modifications, and there is a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure.
The HYMPB3SS measures 9.94 in (252 mm) high by 4.88 in (124 mm) wide by 4.00 in (102 mm) deep, nominal 10 x 5 x 4 in. Per the drawing, the door is 9.12 x 4.19 in, the opening 8.00 x 2.10 in, the clear space available on the door 7.37 x 2.31 in, and the usable depth 3.43 in. Notched pushbutton holes measure 0.89 in on the drawing.
No wall mounting holes are pre-drilled, so installers can weld it in place or use stand-offs. The series is rated UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 12, 4, 4X, complies with NEMA 3R, 12, 4, 4X and IEC 60529 IP69/IP69K, and meets NSF/ANSI 169. It ships boxed at 10 lb (4.54 kg).
