The HYMPB4SS is the wider four-hole model in the HYPB Series of hygienic Type 4X stainless steel pushbutton enclosures. With four 22mm pushbutton holes in a 9.94 in by 6.88 in body, it gives room for a compact grid of pushbuttons and indicators on equipment that is washed down. Formed 304 stainless steel is sloped 3° on all four sides so water drains off, and the continuously welded seams are ground smooth under a natural #4 dairy finish. A silicone gasket mounts around the full door edge for easy cleaning and is replaceable with the HYG107. The hex head screw cover is fully removable for modifications, and bonding and grounding studs are provided.
The enclosure is 9.94 in (252 mm) high by 6.88 in (175 mm) wide by 4.00 in (102 mm) deep, nominal 10 x 7 x 4 in. The drawing shows a 9.12 x 6.19 in door, an 8.00 x 4.10 in opening, 7.37 x 4.31 in of clear space available on the door and 3.43 in of usable depth, with 0.89 in notched pushbutton holes.
With no pre-drilled wall holes, the HYMPB4SS can be welded in place or mounted with stand-offs. The series is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 12, 4, 4X rated, complies with NEMA 3R, 12, 4, 4X and IEC 60529 IP69/IP69K, and meets NSF/ANSI 169. Shipping weight is 14 lb (6.35 kg), packed in a box.
