Hammond HWCFD2412UBK 12U Positive Pressure Filter Fan Door, 24in Wide

The HWCFD2412UBK is a lockable positive pressure filter fan door sized for 12U, 24 in wide Hammond HWC Series wall mount cabinets. It is intended for IT, AV and facilities teams who need to secure a wall-mounted cabinet while moving filtered air through the enclosure, and it is listed by the manufacturer as a door for use exclusively with the HWC Series.

Construction is 16-gauge steel in mild steel material, finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The nominal size is 24 in x 24 in x 0.84 in (610 mm x 610 mm x 21 mm); the part drawing shows overall panel dimensions of 24.00 in (610 mm) x 23.69 in (602 mm) with a 0.84 in (21 mm) thickness.

The door ships with the hardware needed to hang and secure it: right-hand and left-hand surface door hinges so hinging can be set up on the left or right, two hinge cover plates, four #10-24 x 3/8 thread cutting screws, a draw latch and latch striker, door latch bracket and screws, and two stick-on rubber bumper feet. Hinge components and latch hardware are shipped loose. A snap-latch lock and two keys are included, along with door mounting hardware.

The fan door configuration on HWCFD2412UBK includes four 4.7 in fan guard and cord kits and four 120 mm black filter grilles. Positive pressure filter fan operation requires the HWCF Wall Rack Cabinet Sealing & Filter Kit, which is sold separately. The door is TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, and manufactured in North America (country of origin CA).
