Hammond HWC3027U35BK 27U Swing-Out Wall Mount Cabinet, 30in Wide

The HWC3027U35BK is a 27U enclosed swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet for 19-inch equipment, built for IT, telecom and critical-infrastructure installations where load capacity, security and code compliance all matter. It is the 30-inch-wide, 35-inch-deep member of the HWC Series, measuring 54.06 in x 30.68 in x 34.78 in (1,373 mm x 779 mm x 883 mm) overall and shipping at 212 lbs (96.16 kg). The door is not included and is ordered separately.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel finished in RAL9005 Black powder coat (painted black, sand textured). The series carries a UL2416 listing (UL File # E474597) with a 350 lb (158 kg) load rating and a seismic rating of 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) in accordance with IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. With a door installed, the cabinet meets PCI DSS requirements. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the cabinet is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America (Country of Origin: CA).

The centre section swings out for full rear access. Usable rack space is 47.25 in (1200 mm) high (47.31 in / 1202 mm per the drawing, 27U) with 32.50 in (826 mm) of equipment mounting depth — the maximum equipment depth that still allows the centre section to swing out unimpeded — and 34.21 in (869 mm) of overall internal space.

HWC3027U35BK also provides a 1.75 in x 4.50 in cable opening, concealed hinges, a safety pin lock-out, power bar mounting that does not consume U space, and top, bottom and side knockouts including a fan pattern for optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans.
