Hammond HWC3027U27BK 27U Swing-Out Wall Cabinet, 30" W x 27" D

The HWC3027U27BK is a 27U enclosed swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet for 19-inch equipment, intended for IT and telecom installations where floor space is limited but load capacity, security and serviceability still matter. It is the 30 in wide, shallower-depth (27 in nominal) member of the HWC Series, supplied without a door so the front can be configured with a solid, vented or window door ordered separately.

Construction is 14-gauge steel with a black powder coat finish in RAL9005, applied as a painted black sand texture. The HWC Series is UL2416 listed (UL file E474597) with a 350 lb (158 kg) load rating and is seismic rated to a 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) in accordance with IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10, making it suitable for regulated and inspected environments. The finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the cabinet is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America.

Overall dimensions are 54.06 in x 30.68 in x 26.78 in (1,373 mm x 779 mm x 680 mm), with 47.25 in (1,200 mm) of usable mounting height and 24.50 in (622 mm) of usable equipment depth — the maximum equipment depth that still allows the centre section to swing out unimpeded. Internal overall space is 26.21 in (666 mm) and the 19 in rail mounting width is 18.31 in (465 mm).

The centre section swings out on concealed hinges with a safety pin lock-out for full rear access. HWC3027U27BK ships with one pair of adjustable tapped 10-32 mounting rails (field-replaceable, and swappable for square-hole rails sold separately) plus a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws. Thirty-inch-wide rails with integrated cutouts accept optional 1U 19 in accessories such as cable management and power distribution, and a 1.75 in x 4.50 in cable opening, power bar mounting that does not consume U space, and fan knockouts for optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans support routing and airflow.
