The HW483616S16HK is the deepest 48 x 36 in size in the hinged-door stainless wallmount line, at 48 x 36 x 16 in (1,219 x 914 x 406 mm) in 316 stainless steel. It provides room for deeper electrical and electronic equipment while protecting it in harsh industrial environments, washdown areas and wet, corrosive locations.
The enclosure is formed stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural, smooth brushed finish on cover and body. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the hinged door. The door sits on a stainless steel continuous hinge that releases when the hinge pin is pulled, and a 316 stainless pad lockable handle operates a 3 point roller latching system.
Per the drawing, the door opening is 33.26 x 45.25 in, overall depth is 17.23 in, and the enclosure mounts through 0.44 in holes on a 30.00 x 49.25 in pattern. Collar studs accept the optional 18P4533 inner panel (45.00 x 33.00 in). The door carries a bonding stud, and a grounding stud is installed in the enclosure.
