The HW483616SSHK is a 304 stainless steel Type 4X wallmount enclosure at 48 x 36 x 16 in (1,219 x 914 x 406 mm). The 16 in depth allows deeper equipment while the stainless construction protects electrical and electronic gear against harsh industrial conditions, hose-down washing and wet, corrosive environments.
It is built of formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, a formed lip that keeps flowing liquids and contaminants out, and a seamless poured-in place gasket. The natural stainless finish is smooth brushed. The hinged door uses a stainless continuous hinge and may be removed by pulling the hinge pin; a 316 stainless pad lockable handle and 3 point roller latching system secure it.
