The HW483612SSHK is a 48 x 36 x 12 in (1,219 x 914 x 305 mm) wallmount enclosure made from 304 stainless steel. It is designed for electrical and electronic equipment in harsh industrial settings, providing a high level of protection where equipment is hosed down or exposed to wet, corrosive conditions. It is ideal for processing plants, utility, outdoor municipal or petrochemical locations where easy yet secure access is required.
Formed 14 gauge stainless steel is continuously welded with seams ground smooth, then left as natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish. The body has a formed lip to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants, and the door seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket. A stainless steel continuous hinge carries the door, which can be removed by pulling the hinge pin, and a 316 stainless pad lockable handle with 3 point roller latching secures it.
