The HW483610SSHK is a 304 stainless steel Type 4X wallmount enclosure, 48 x 36 x 10 in (1,219 x 914 x 254 mm). It encloses electrical and electronic equipment on walls in harsh industrial environments and gives a high level of protection where gear is hosed down or exposed to wet, corrosive conditions, such as processing plants, utilities, outdoor municipal and petrochemical locations.
This enclosure uses formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, finished in natural stainless with a smooth brushed surface. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants; a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. The door hangs on a stainless continuous hinge that releases when the hinge pin is pulled, and a 316 stainless pad lockable handle drives a 3 point roller latching system.
